Glam Up With Swirl-Painted Wreath

This non-traditional take on a Christmas wreath uses clear plastic balls and some craft paint to dramatic effect. A simple technique of swirling the paint on the inside of the balls leaves a beautiful, glass-like finish.

supplies

-wire wreath

-clear plastic Christmas balls

-craft paint

-hot glue gun

-empty egg carton

how to

1. Remove the grommet that holds the string or wire for hanging the Christmas balls so you have an opening. Add a drop of paint and swirl it around until you get the paint coverage you like.

2. With the opening facing the bottom, place in the egg carton to dry. Leave for about 24 hours.

3. Affix the balls to the wreath with the hot glue gun.

4. Fabulous.
