Mom of three, wife, flower lover,
design curious, preservationist and optimistic dreamer who can't stop seeing the potential for beauty around us.
CYNTHIA IS A HOME AND GARDEN CREATIVE KNOWN FOR CHARACTER-FILLED SPACES AND CAREFREE FLOWER DISPLAYS.
With a belief that home is a beautiful work in progress, Cynthia invites you into hers and shares inspiration as a content creator, writer and presenter. Cynthia's signature soulful style which blends treasures and trash, big box and boutique, old and new, indoors and out, is regularly featured in leading lifestyle media, and her first book, House + Flower has recently been released.
An advocate of the Slow Flower Movement, Cynthia sustainably grows small-batch speciality blooms and designs unfussy seasonal arrangements. This aesthetic spills into Cynthia's interiors which are true-to-the-space, trendless mash-ups of scale, texture and colour.
Cynthia and her husband Graham share a passion for saving forgotten houses and have restored a range of period properties.
A former public relations executive, Cynthia now devotes her time to family and creative projects from her home base in Toronto.

Here's what I believe about home making.
DON'T DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD. PLEASE YOURSELF. DON'T DISPOSE. SEE POTENTIAL. DON'T BE AFRAID. TAKE A CHANCE.
Get turned on by the lasting not the fleeting. Live with things that are older than you. Embrace the classics and quality. Work with what you've got.
MOTHER NATURE IS THE ORIGINAL STYLIST
And her candy is flowers. We should always have them. They lift a space and our spirits. They unite us. Source local and sustainable. Grow your own. Forage responsibly.
HOMES HAVE SOULS
Let your house speak. Love and care for her. Fill her with the people, creatures and things that bring joy and make you smile.
YOU DO YOU
High and low. Treasures and trash. Big box and boutique. DIY and couture. Old and new. When you surround yourself with what you love, it all goes together.
